can anyone confirm/disprove that edit: the first poc thing, not the inception thing that i doubt (and truly don’t want) is real
I’d be shocked if this had any connection to Inception. Besides the fact it doesn’t seem like something Nolan would do, the prologue has a pretty distinct look and feel that didn’t remind me of Inception at all.
It could be something as simple as in this world, the concept of extraction and inception is possible. I could see that.
List of most expensive films - Wikipedia looks like it, I don't think Avatar counts because Zoe is blue
Knowing Nolan's history, I feel the studio felt perfectly fine giving him a blank check for this, haha. Aside from the worldwide locations used throughout the film, I'm wondering where the rest of the budget for this went to, being that it's not effects-heavy like a Marvel or Avatar film
Agreed. He’s extremely good at what he does and they’re mostly great. But I wouldn’t put him up with PTA or anything.
On the other hand, if things go back to normal late June-early July, this will be one of the first new releases out when it's safe to go back to theaters. It's a risk, but it could be huge if it pays off. Unless everyone's still afraid of movie theaters.
if this is halfway decent, it'll be a best picture front-runner even if it came out tomorrow straight to VOD. cmon.
As serious as this situation is, they’re probably thinking there’s no reason to delay anything scheduled to come out in July/August right now. They could probably wait until June and then delay the movie if they wanted to. They likely want to wait until they absolutely have to.
