The hot sauce quip really just continues to puzzle me. How could so many people so great at their respective jobs allow that to make the final cut? A real brain buster for me. You "ordered" your hot sauce? Like, placed an order for it? as a meal? side? Would you actually wait an hour for hot sauce? Why? 10 minutes max. maybe 15 How cold is your presumably hot/warm entree? You've waited an hour for a condiment. "its just a fun cool little protag catchphrase lol chill out" swap a food out, anything and maybe yes ok its less egregious. You mean to tell me astrophysicists and molecular-entropy structure consultants were utilized in making of this film but, somehow this line wasn't edited out in post production? really makes you think
I mean he probably should have said "I asked for some hot sauce an hour ago" but, also, who cares lol
I saw a thing where JDW said he improvised the line and it made Nolan laugh so he kept it in. That's about all there is to it
It's a funny line, I truly don't understand how so many people have managed to take such intense issue with it
I feel like Tenet is going to be to Nolan's filmography what King of Limbs is to Radiohead's discography. That is to say, it's impressive, but too abstract and feels pretty inconsequential stacked up against the rest of his work.
I also think this movie will be very consequential for nolan seemed like bad optics all around I doubt he's gonna be getting the same amount of money and or freedom for his next film
Damn if it was opening in like May I’d definitely be excited to go see it since I’ll be vaccinated by then
Might screen the bluray of this tonight. Is it true this is more nonsense than puzzle compared to Nolan's other puzzle movies? Anyone have tips as far as stuff I should know/prepare for before watching?
Considering buying the 4K Ultra Blu-Ray of this simply because my PS5 can play those discs and if nothing else this nonsense movie looks pretty cool
I personally think the confusion is overblown, lol. Though, depending on your sound situation, subtitles help a lot.
It’s an incredibly stupid movie that spends almost its entire runtime explaining itself to you only for you to still not understand what is going on
