right lol one of the more breakneck movies in the last few years. it honestly moves too fast in some parts.
Idk, I can’t explain it. I always get 30 minutes in and my eyes glaze over. Nothing about it pulls me in.
Agreed, that’s why I think The Prestige and Interstellar are the only ones that I keep coming back to. Next is The Dark Knight/Inception and evening those have issues for me. And then I’m not really into his other movies.
Inception is fun but I can't watch it anymore since half the movie is the characters explaining what's happening on screen
Yeah I'm a little over halfway through listening to it, and it just doesn't stir any emotions; none of the tracks so far elicit a certain mood one way or another. I'm a big soundtrack listener, and so far this is just ehhhhh
But still, if somehow the music clicks for you emotionally, if it stirs up particular images or themes that appeal to you, then for sure it'll be a much better listening experience
genuine question, why do you come in these threads if you seemingly get annoyed anytime anyone discusses something about the filmmakers lol
Because I'm checking to see if there's something new, not the exact same thing for the ten thousandth time...
(I'm just kidding I have no dog in this fight and really love The Dark Knight but I am aware it is not considered his best/often gets separated out since it's a comic book movie/not an original story or whatever....I just really wanted to use this gif in this argument lol)
I really enjoy most of his movies the first time I watch them but TDK is really the only one I go back to at all.
