The obsession with whether something is green screen or practical is so dumb. There can be good or bad of either version.
i don’t know how right or wrong that is, but i’m a dumbass who never knows how good or bad the cgi is - much less if there even was any or not - if no one else says anything
Just like shooting digital vs film, CG vs practical all comes down to the preference of the filmmakers (or studio heads...), and there are good and bad uses of each
Really intrigued to see how well attended it is in the UK. I personally, with regret, won’t be going. Cases are rising again here too.
Lol I got the email from AMC that they are reopening soon. Theaters won't be opening in my state however.
Like whatever - put it in theaters like you promised Nolan, but with key markets like NY and CA having no clear opening, they really should also put it on VOD after 2 weeks or so. Then in a better world, re-release it in theaters. I'll gladly see it the second (or third?) time the way it was intended when it's safe
i’m on the fence on if i’d see this (or any movie) in a small town theater. on the one hand, i’ve seen plenty of movies on a weekday night with one or two other groups max in the same auditorium, so not a huge risk there, but that’s also the same demographic who care zero percent about covid precautions.
‘Tenet’ To Have Early Access Screenings Stateside Starting Aug. 31 – Deadline Not happening in NY or NJ. I should look and see what they're doing here in MD. I'm not gonna go, but I can't recall if we foolishly opened up theaters or not.
I am immensely curious as to what this track will sound like and how it'll fit with the overall theme and vibe of Tenet
