rewatched it recently, and Prestige still holds up really well.

 

I think I literally said this last week/last page, but Inception overall holds up surprisingly well, & The Dark Knight Rises is super fun.

Guess I just like genre action movie Nolan more than serious Nolan? lol.

Still my favorite Tom hardy performance. There’s an alternate universe where he continues in that vein that id really like to live in.

 

I can't imagine thinking that Inception doesn't hold up. Every time I do a rewatch I am surprised all over again at how great and fun it is.

 

Conceptually it holds up but the amount of exposition is tedious.

 

I started a rewatch of Nolan's filmography and will get to Inception. People have complained about all the expository dialog, which I can understand. Explanation is part of the fun and works for me, especially since it's a heist movie.

 

Yeah taking half the movie to tell me what's happening makes it unwatchable for me

 

Are we in the movie? Why is this thread always having the same conversations on repeat

Dunkirk is underrated.

 

Because the film keeps getting pushed back a couple weeks at a time, & people need something to talk about other than... *gestures at everything*
