Bry is on this so I doubt his behaviour is the reason behind there not being an episode. I doubt they’d record Patreon episodes without Bry but not the flagship podcast tbh.
I’m sure they are just waiting for the dust to settle. When all that bean dad shit was going on with John Roderick, he basically paused all his pods for a month and then continued with them like nothing happened.
Bryan and his much much younger wife brought on a guest, somebody who was on Little House On The Prairie in the 80's, and then didn't bother to plug any mics in? so it sounds like shit in addition to being an absolutely boring interview that no fan of the show would have any interest in. Honestly I feel bad for the guest, she seemed like a nice lady who had to carry the conversation on a show that she had no reason to be part of
Fucking hell. What a creep. Jeez one look at the TESD reddit front page and this has to be the most disliked episode ever. Easily.
I think that was Suzanne. I thought he met Maribeth when she was closer to 20. Granted both are insane considering his age
Tyler is correct. Even putting the age difference aside, I’m pretty sure Bry literally married his stalker, which is also pretty wild lol
If they’re really 4 years behind, they won’t know most of the witnesses or what they’re referencing I do agree Bry fucking sucks. He’s reigned it in a lot, to the point where I listen every week and only have to roll my eyes from time to time.
The trial of git em was pretty good. At nearly 4 hours i was a bit apprehensive committing that amount of time to it. I did laugh when Q tried to give Mike Z a moment of appreciation. Kind of wish i had the patreon to see the video how the room read that as i think someone said "not sure that went down well with everyone". I think the regular episodes have been pretty decent for a while now. I sometimes glance over to the patreon to see whats happening. To be fair to them they churn out some amount of content on that. Majority isnt my cup of tea (i.e. them reading through a tv guide). However, tales behind the counter (behind the scenes of comic book men) and Bry Tries (brying trying a new hobby every month) seem like a interesting episodes. Probably like everyone, it seems a good idea to take it out, but i struggle to keep on top of my normal pod subscriptions at best of times. I also saw Sal from IJ has put his podcasts on Hiatus going forwards.
The latest episode talking about Q west is getting slated on Reddit. I don’t really get the hate. I enjoyed it. Was surprised to see it get panned.
i didnt mind it, if i was in states and had cash id probably have went. I like steve Byrne. I did find it funny that one of the comedians was fascinated by git em. Like his story is wild.
R.I.P. Tim the Record Store Clerk. He was recently diagnosed with ALS and died today or yesterday. He was an amazing addition to the TESD Town. Lots of fun memories.
