Since this has turned into an argument, I'll throw in the fact that The Strokes used to be instrument based but have recently turned to electronics as well.

there's an insane amount of bands that make that change, it's obviously an alluring thing to try after making so many albums the same way.

Boo, gotta wait until November -- can't wait, though, always a great show.

 

I'm guessing that they're playing Glastonbury.

 

Awesome, the last date of the tour is here. Gonna have to go.

 

Hmmm... not crazy about seeing them at MSG. Should of gotten the earlier NY date. Foolish me.

this album is even more poppy and groovy than Heartthrob

Boyfriend is easily in my top 5 songs so far this year.

 

I really don't like "Boyfriend" but Drew's still getting me hyped.

 

I like Boyfriend, the verses are a lot stronger than the chorus but overall it still works.


And god damn they are gorgeous, I especially have a crush on Sara
