historically, I tend to prefer Tegan's songs, but I'm ambivalent on this one.

 

Song was decent. Lyrics are not. We'll see.

 

I like the verses more than the chorus, but it's good overall. It's nice having them period, and I love Heartthrob so I'm down. Although I do hope it has some stuff to make it a bit different from that.

Just finished reading this and basically silently cheered at the end. Such a good read.

I feel bad listening to these two songs so much already since there's only 10 tracks on the album. Hopefully we get some b-sides again.

 

I like "U Turn" way more than "Boyfriend" but it still isn't really wowing me.

 

Yeah I like U-Turn more as well, both the verses and chorus catch me. Now to hold off until the album because yeah, 2 songs out of 10 already is a bit much. Ugh 2 more months.

 

I am so stoked on U-turn especially! Cannot wait for this album.

Yeah I liked Boyfriend but this song actually gets me excited for the record. What a bop.
