I’ll have to listen to it again but it sounded pretty good to me! I have the Audio Technica LP120 with KRK ROKIT 5” speakers.

 

Most epitaph pressings sound bad

 

Unrelated but the pressing for Turnover’s Good Nature sounds amazing. I was spinning it last night and was just amazed at how clean and clear it was.

 

RFC is a smaller label that actually cares about putting out quality products for the most part

 

I know what you mean. My Menzingers And Pianos records before Epitaph sound a lot better.

I listened to Teenage Wrist the night I got home from their record release show so it’s my possible my bad hearing could have been fooling me, but the mastering felt quiet and flat.

 

I feel like Polyvinyl does a really good job too.

 

The production on this album is really good.

 

This album really clicked with me this week, there are some awesome, catchy leads on it

 

Same, went from feeling “this is pretty good” to listening to it nonstop for a week

 

Heard Stoned, Alone yesterday and really diggin this.

 

Part Time Punks sessions up on Spotify now, they sound great. I also completely forgot about this record haha. Might be time for another go

 

Honestly shocked at how much I still love this record. Really strong melodies

 

It's easily in my personal top 20 records of the year.

 

Back To The Beach is this upcoming weekend so I'm listening to some of the bands that are playing that I don't know very well. Teenage Wrist caught my ear almost immediately. Jamming their album now, and now I'm stoked to check them out live! Good shit. And bonus points for this being Kamtim's project!

 

They played a new song the other night with Basement. Sounded great.

Three song EP. Maybe b-sides? Either way, I like these tracks more than most of CNJ

 

These don't sound like B-sides. Definitely different production here.

Anyway, they’re good. They know how to write a hook

 

These are cool, leaning a little harder on the grunge.

 

These new songs are great and definitely on par with CNJ. Has me itching for a new LP but that'll probably be next year at the earliest. Also still loving CNJ a ton especially with the warmer/sunny weather coming!
