Going to the record release with Counterparts tonight. I listened to Dweeb and I was sold on them

  12. Haven’t finished the record yet but this is okay. Idk what there is to get out of this that bands like Supherheaven and stuff didn’t already give us but whatever, it’s enjoyable

  13. Yeah just finished this. Probably am not gonna go back to this much. It’s fine for what it is, but I don’t listen to this type of music very often and this is basically a carbon copy of better records to listen to when I’m in that mood instead. It’s not bad, just super transparent and derivative

Sounds like Nothing if Nothing was catchy. I'm into it.

This is good but doesn’t come close to anything Nothing has done.

but isn't it cool supporting a lesser version of a band if the better one is full of shitty people?
not that i like this band either, just saying

I was recommending this record to a friend and said “think of an emo Soundgarden” and laughed.

The guitar tones on this record are really great. I love the title track, “Dweeb”, “Black Flamingo”, and “Rollerblades” the most. Also woahhhhh did not realize it was the Chain Gang of 1974 dude. He look de-aged in the band promo pix... how?

So he's the vocalist right? Makes me want to check out Chain Gang of 1974 because i enjoy the vocals so much.

Also listening to Chain Gang’s Daydream Forever and it’s just as amazing... now I’m tempted to buy that on vinyl too. This guy is seriously talented.
