Letting Paul Rudd go full Paul Rudd for his character was perfect

 

Saw it again to again solidified my opinion of it being fantastic fun.

 

What the hell, this was absolutely fantastic, I was laughing out loud consistently through the whole thing. Really got the characters down great and Seth and Evan did a great job adapting their style to PG (although there's actually a decent amount of this movie I was surprised they managed to get into a PG movie)

 

Going to see this tonight! V excited

 

For some reason Im kinda bummed that this came in No. 4 for the box office opening weekend. I know it still made great money and was up to expectations, but how the heck did such a terribly reviewed movie like The Meg 2 beat this out? I can obviously see Barbie and I guess Oppenheimer beating it.
I think this film will have some decent legs still though. Really excited for the future with the tv series leading up to the sequel that have both been announced.

 

Man when I was using the restroom before watching this a guy was talking his like, 6 year old about how they were about to see The Meg lol

 

I think this will have decent legs, and the budget isn’t too high. Should be looked at as a success fairly quickly

 

My nephews and I loved this.

 

This was great!

 

The milking jokes and the zooming in on the pierced nips,,, these were good moments

 

Hearing Jackie Chan say incredibly seriously “see - you left the sewer…and you got milked” got the biggest laugh out of me

 

This was a lot of fun! Score was an absolute highlight - loved how it felt restrained at certain points, switching it up with synth, jazz, hip hop, really cool

 

The score is my favorite Trent/Atticus score since The Social Network. Added so much to the film.

 

This fucking ruled. Jackie Chan stole the movie. The milking jokes got me every time. Also the improv class at the high school was taught by Mr Halkias which has to be a reference to Stavros Halkias right??

 

All the kid voices actors killed it too. Definitely the right call.

 

We watched the OG with my 4 year old today. He was definitely into the turtles but he gets super anxious whenever there are “bad guys” in a movie lol so half the time he was just like omg the bad guys

 

Tell him to toughen up

Patiently waiting for the mondo gecko Funko Pop and action figure. Paul Rudd was perfect casting

 

I know they already announced a two season follow up of this on Paramount+ before the sequel and I'm excited. One thing I'm curious about is if the original voice actors for everyone will actually be in the series. Might be tough to get the celebs.

 

I imagine it’ll be the teens with some low level villains, and Jackie Chan probably

 

Probably gonna be tough to tear Ice Cube away from saying dumb shit on social media.

 

loved this a lot, though I did feel that the VAs for Mikey and Donny should have been switched around.
