I am looking forward to this. I loved that APC album and these singles are really good.

On a trip with the family so I'm not sure when I’ll get to spin this but stoked to see what everyone thinks

unwanted houseguest is unlistenable and i think he overdid it on this record with acoustic songs. violence violence is my favourite thing on here. overall it's a good record but i was expecting better. the lyrics to complaining in dreams are.. odd.

 

how are the lyrics on that song odd? they seem straightforward to me. worth looking at them in the context of sam almost dying last year.

anyway i love this album, it's the best teen suicide/APC release in a long ass time

 

"or waterboard me with one of those big novelty shirts
air-brushed to look like boobs". is odd enough, no?

Yeah, there's context to that whole little diatribe in that song lol I think it's a really great meditation on the feelings his NDE left with him.
