as a fan of that like 19th century promotional style it seems to be playing off of, i'm into the cover. that being said, I've never listened to this guy, what's a good entry? doubting it's the project with Aimee Mann, though that's where I'd probably naturally head first.

Stream Ted Leo’s New Album The Hanged Man

 

Well.... this album is kinda a slog to get through, unfortunately. Almost every song feels like it's too long haha

 

It is a little too long, but I keep coming back to it. The last stretch of songs is so good.

 

I finally got around to this (after finally reading that amazing Stereogum profile) and really enjoyed my first listen. Definitely some crucial additions to the Ted canon

 

I have never listened to this guy but I want to start. Where should I start?

 

Shake The Sheets is the easiest entry point, then backtrack to Tyrany of Distance and Hearts of Oak

 

This is the first song I ever heard from him. Fell right in love. Great album as well.
