Season 1 was lightning in a bottle and there are definitely some rougher parts to 2 and 3 but I liked them all. Not mad about it

 

First few episodes were good! Great cast and writers but definitely slipped in the end trying to hit certain beats

 

Lasso was a good show for the environment we were all in at the time. there's no need to bring it back, though.

 

Idk I think we're in a depressing and lonely enough environment where we could all use some positivity

 

The last time I talked about how I don’t need a tv show or movie to make me feel better someone attempted to shame me because I’m straight and have a wife and dogs and a mortgage

I agree with that person, you have dogs obviously you’re feeling great

 

Also for what it’s worth I think “we don’t need feel good tv shows anymore” is a super weird stance

I thought it ended well overall, so I’m not really itching for more.

 

My issue is that it just doesn’t narratively make sense. They basically ended the show with the last season—if they’re remaking it with all new characters besides Ted then that’s a new show. But I’ll still watch I suppose

The world really sucks ass, but just being with Ted and Rebecca again would make it such a little less.

Maybe there’s some selection bias here but I’m surprised more people aren’t excited. It’s a fantastic show that had a relatively disappointing season 3. Sure the conciseness of the arc gets diluted now and the legacy gets a bit sloppier but I’m never gonna complain about getting another season of a show I loved and only got 3 seasons of.

 

For sure! I was probably more negative than most on last season. But there’s always hope that they have some good stories to tell.
