Couldn’t this just be the Women’s Richmond team show they were hinting at at the end of the series since the contracts they picked up were Waddingham, Goldstein and Swift?
I know people soured on the show but I mostly enjoyed it through the end and would gladly take another season if most of the cast return.
The last season wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be. I enjoyed a lot of it. But I don’t understand the point of a new season. They would have to completely revitalize the narrative and bring me back in because even I’m skeptical about it.
I MIGHT be okay with the concept of a spinoff but I would not be happy about a S4, especially without Sudeikis
If a fourth season happens, I wouldn’t necessarily mind if it didn’t include Sudeikis. As much as Scrubs definitely should have stopped with season 8, I thought season 9 was solid enough. Would be weird to still call it Ted Lasso, though.
Finally got around to season 3. definitely not without it's flaws. Episodes trended to be too long and the entire Nate plot felt like a swing and a miss to me. But still way better than I was expecting given the lukewarm chatter I saw about it while it was airing Like sure the finale is cheesy as fuck but it was still fun and made me tear up so haters can fuck off
I'll watch another season and then judge. Nothing they have done so far has let me down. On a related note, I really like Running Point on netflix. To me, equally as charming with a great ensemble cast and some REALLY great lines / jokes sprinkled throughout. Cliche but nailing the formula.
Running Point should have been much better. There’s glimmers of a good show in there but overall it was pretty mid.
