A spin-off called “AFC Richmond” where it’s essentially the same show, minus Ted, plus a women’s team has a lot of potential. However, it’s a perfect three season show and doesn’t need that. I just want more time with these characters because I love them.
Anyone else feel like this was extra emotional because it was like closing a chapter on lockdown era pandemic?
It did all the things it needed to do. Glad to see that they didn’t spend any additional money on green screen technology 3 years later. When they were lined up crying I thought something happened to the TV. For Rebecca’s storyline would have preferred they left it as the fans being her kids. It’s like they were going for that and just had to cave. The Roy and Jamie bromance carried the season. Felt like they didn’t have Ted talk too much in the finale and he just listened. That stuck out and thought that was great. Gonna miss it all. No spin off needed
Perfect ending. I thought this season was great, much better than S2. Excited to rewatch the whole thing sometime
No surprises, ended just right. now since Ted looked back at Michelle and Dr Jacob wasn’t there, or there at the house, do we think she kicked his ass out?
Read a review that compared this season to Be Here Now (Oasis's third record) and essentially trashed it for being bloated and overindulgent. Fuck them though. This season ruled and so does Be Here Now.
The band no one knows about getting popular and releasing a good third album but the old school fans feel the need to shit on it a bit because it got popular actually works very well for this season. (As someone that doesn’t like Oasis at all.)
So are they going full meta and calling the next show The Richmond Way, because it was never about Ted?
Damn, people expect a lot of TV shows these days. Ended up loving the season and the last few eps were such a beautiful, Ted Lasso, finish
