I guess I'll have to wait to see Nate's "unexpected" death in the finale tomorrow instead of tonight.

 

Kind of sucks since I have to be at school at 5:45 tomorrow morning to chaperone a three day trip. Hope the bus' wifi works...

Being slightly annoyed the finale isn’t available to watch at the same time the other 11 episodes were seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to me?

Yea it’s strange that they would release it at a different time and so late for most of the US.

I've been behind all season, just assumed it was coming out at midnight and most people watched it the next day

 

I swear I'm not overthinking this, but it's just a really a bizarre decision to change it to that time at this stage. I'd think they'll lose quite a bit of realtime engagement since the majority of the US will be asleep, and Europe will just be waking up. Maybe most people actually wait to watch it until Wednesday or later, even if they're at risk for spoilers? If the majority of people here even realize that's it's actually been releasing on Tuesday, that is...

I'm sure they did this for a reason, but I don't get it.

(I could also be completely off base since quite a bit of my Twitter feed is people reacting to the show.)

They’re also not putting it up in advance for the media, which makes sense. But the different time is weird. Like really, if there’s any time for Apple to do a live broadcast of something, why not do like a special lead-up and airing of the end (which we all know it’s not) of your most popular show?

 

The only thing I could think of is to avoid a crash of the app. The move probably makes it so less people are logging in all at once.

I’d be shocked if this season doesn’t end in the exact way anyone who watches it expects it to, so not sure how dangerous the spoiler territory will be or how high the instant engagement would have been

 

Is this actually the series finale? I saw some stuff last year about this being the final season but has that changed?

If it is I get it, and while I've been LOVING this season, a lot of main story points in the last few episodes have felt rushed. Richmond winning, Nate being liked by the team again, etc.
