Enjoying the season but Nate is an irredeemable scumbag and I do not care to see him have a feel good romantic arc

All he’s done is be cocky and rip a sign in half, it’s not like he murdered Teds annoying kid or anything

Nate has been an ass to everyone, not just Ted, bc of his fragile masculinity, low self-worth, and a napoleon complex—we haven’t seen much of it but seems like he abuses his own team. He seems to have major issues with his father/family/past but I’m not sure that relieves him of his actions. They probably could go deeper into exploring that. Anyway I’m cool with him having a redemption arc. I think it’s more meaningful to see restorative justice and rehabilitation in a character rather than a plot where he “gets what he deserves” or whatever. They just need to do it well.

I hate what Nate did, but I definitely still like him. He's going to get redeemed. He's probably going to be the one to bring Richmond to victory. He's going to have to apologize not just to Ted, but to everyone. Also I noticed his roots starting to turn back to black. It's clear he misses the unity of Richmond.

Like, if that poor kid had severe depression he could have seriously hurt himself over the abuse that Nate put him through. Fuck him.

Most of the team bullied the shit out of Nate too, and they're all pretty likeable now

I think people were ignorantly disregarding his feelings, but nobody was outright malicious to him like Nate was to the equipment manager

Except maybe Jaime Tartt, but theyve actually done a good, natural job at redeeming his character

I think it was probably the weakest episode of the season, but I still enjoyed it. I've hated the whole Keely/Jack arc and this episode was too centric on that and the leak. I did on the other hand love Jamie showing up to apologize. I was surprised and disappointed with Roy's reaction -- kind of thought they would end up back together

I like everything they're doing with Nate. I don't think he should end up back at Richmond though. Having a redemption arc and making up with some of the characters doesn't mean things should go back to before bridges were burnt.

Also don't think Ted and Michelle should get back together. So much of this has been about Ted learning to accept the end of his marriage and if they got back together it would kinda undermine the best scene in the series:

I don't think Ted and Michelle are being set up to be back together. His phone conversation with Rebecca about letting the past be the past near the end of the episode seems to confirm that for me.

Also wondering what the hell they're doing with this Jade character. She seems like an empty shell of a human or a robot or something.

Also people watching a busker on the streets of London, especially one as boring as that guy was, is the most unbelievable thing this show has done so far. Even worse than the scenes where they play football.
