Feel like I should have loved this episode because the broad strokes were perfect but it wasn’t my favorite of the season for whatever reason. Absolutely loved the bike scene(s) though and it’s refreshing that they seem to be turning things around as far as Ted’s willful incompetence. Trent Crimm stuff was nicely done as well. I continue to be a big fan of how the overall stories are progressing this season.
Me, an idiot: "Ugh, the journalist finds out a player is gay. Here comes the outing and forgiving the unforgivable. Ted Lasso: I know, let's just make them the most adorable and wholesome friends
I don't love that Keeley and Jack are playing out the same power dynamic issue that Rebecca and Sam had last season, but without any consciousness of it this time around. Jack has all the financial power over Keeley's company. Maybe as the storyline develops, this'll be fixed/addressed.
eh disagreed, they're actually giving her something to do for once as opposed to just being jamie/roy's SO
It is one of the things that is causing this particular strain of tourism which in turns plays a part in destroying normal life in these cities
I don't know how to explain this, I am sorry, it's not what Moose said for me though, even though I do agree that that's also problematic. Like, it almost feels like they're treating Europe as like a zoo or some shit. idk, sorry.
I liked this one a lot. Roy learning to ride a bike was great as was the pillow fight. I'm glad they didn't do a heel turn with Trent. Rebecca's storyline was the only one that didn't do much for me.
Another funny thing is that Ajax would probably never play a friendly against a British c-tier club but also if they would they probably wouldn’t win 4-0 cause they kinda suck now too lol I very much assume Ajax paid for this, in the hopes of raising their overseas profile
Yeah. I didn’t understand the the mid season friendly at all. EDIT: More believable than WHU being top of the league.
