I wish this was 20 30 minute episodes because there is no reason for this show to be 45-50 minutes and have this many concurrent storylines
Feel like past seasons they didn’t really last much longer than 30 minutes. I’m happy it’s ending this year and honestly half way through that season I didn’t feel that way. Teds speech was great but went on a bit too long as well. Right when they introduced Shandy I said to my wife…we did not need this character. In fact we didn’t need her whole office. I agree that the spin off may be around her character. I wouldn’t watch that.
I like having longer episodes because it’s easy enough for me to not get lost in smaller storylines. This show has always been more about the interactions between the characters than a (or multiple) strong plot narrative
Guess I’m in the minority? of loving this so so much? (And the Rebecca story being very important and emotional.)
i'm with ya. i've got minor qualms with how they're handling Nate and how nonsensical it is that ted still doesn't even consider learning how soccer works 3 seasons in, but this season has been mostly fantastic
No complaints from me either. Really enjoying this season and am not finding the episodes to overstay their welcome at all. The Zava stuff was the only thing I hoped to see dialed back a bit and it seems like that happened
I get what you're saying, you'd think he'd at least have a basic understanding of things like 4-4-2, but I also think it's true to his character. He's not really and X's and O's coach. Ted's more of a motivator and culture builder who brings on the more tactical guys to fill in the gaps.
If he truly started learning the tactics how would it make Coach Beard feel if he wasn't needed anymore?
Me: ugh I wish Killers of the Flower Moon really was 4 hours long and not a pedestrian 3:30 Also me: wtfffff why does this episode of Ted Lasso need to be an hour long
Only a few mins in, but man, this show just feels like a massive ad for Apple these days haha it's fucking distracting
Might be my favorite episode of the entire series. Weaving what felt like a dozen heartwarming storylines together at once.
That was a great ep. All the different storylines were fun, and it felt like a turning point for the team. Was fun to watch Higgins slappin da bass.
