this is the final season

 

I had heard it was the final season, but you'd think they'd plug it as such. It just says 'new season'

 

The last season was the final season

 

They’ve never officially confirmed it would end after 3, that’s just the creator’s original intentions. They could always change or apple could force them to do it longer.

 

it does make you wonder if Apple wants to leave it open ended. There were plenty of articles and interviews about this being the final season, being written that way, etc... but I could see Apple going back on that to keep their darling

 

I thought Sudekis said it was the last initially and now minds might have changed and Apple isn't pushing the issue right now since they would obviously want to run it back.

 

It does seem thoughts are potentially shifting to the possibility of more while still currently adhering to three seasons:

The big question, however, is whether the match is over for the soccer comedy. Sudekis has refused to say publicly whether the series is ending after three seasons, though it originally had been set as a three-season arc and many of its stars are preparing to say goodbye.

Some have suggested that Sudekis previously was steadfast in three seasons but that his stance might have softened more recently, a theory corroborated by Dungey.

“What had initially been the vision that Jason and Bill [Lawrence] had, when they went into Season 1, was very much a three-act structure,” she said. Then I think it becomes one of those things that as you get going with it, and if you fall in love with that world and those characters, it’s hard to say goodbye.”

Either way, the former ABC and Netflix exec said she’s feeling good about the show.

“The end of the season, it ends beautifully,” she said. “If that is all we do in the Ted Lasso universe, I think the fans will be really happy and excited. But there’s also a way to crack open a door. If we’re fortunate enough to do more, we can keep on going.”

This is by no means my favorite show ever but if I had to pick one show to watch it might be this. It's just so comfy and wholesome.

 

Just like Scrubs.

Scrubs is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Dr. Cox was the real star of that show.

 

I can’t stand Scrubs haha

 

Lately, my bedtime tv show has been The Repair Shop. Somehow even more wholesome than Ted Lasso.
