Don’t see the Ted Lasso similarities bar it being about football. Just you’re standard football doc with the added bonus of famous American/Canadian owners. Although if you don’t watch football, I guess it does a little.

This was my thought too. Had to remind myself the Christmas episode was during the summer to help contextualize the time lol I’d much rather have the new season in winter rather than early spring show. While it’s not a winter show on the whole, I like being cozy and warm and watching it.
