Finally watched S2. Definitely feels a lot different in tone than the first season; I know S1 had some darkness seep in at points but I was actually really surprised at how dark they went at points here. I should have known when they killed a dog for laughs within the first five minutes of the first episode lol I read back in the thread a little and I agree that Nate seems pretty much beyond redeeming. Was he supposed to have a point in his speech to Ted when he said he made him feel important and then invisible? I thought he was blatantly incorrect and delusional. But there's been enough Nate discourse in this thread haha This show stays really great, even though this one felt a lot different. Really interested in seeing where it goes next, especially if they stay true with ending it after the third season
Also I feel like she doesn't get singled out for a lot of credit but Juno Temple is just delightful in this show, I think she's one of my favorite characters. Super charming and I love her accent lol
On another rewatch... the episode in S1 where they get rid of the curse is some of the best moments of television like ever
I saw Last Night In Soho over the weekend and was wondering where I'd seen Thomsin Mackenzie. Finally figured out it was mostly that she sounded exactly like Juno Temple
Agreeeed. always seemed strange to me though that we get this great Jamie-redeeming moment and then poof he’s a villain again. Surely the team knew he didn’t just like bail? And when he came back in s2 they just forgot that moment?
No worries, of course. I've never shared anything tbh. So, it's cool to see someone else sharing something I made. Thanks again!
The part where the kid sees Santa at the end of the Christmas episode is my least favorite moment of the entire show
are you Neil DeGrasse Tyson? but seriously I’ve been watching this show lately and there are so many things that are way outside of the realm of possibility when that happened I didn’t even think to judge it
Really this is a good comedy and I’m enjoying it for what if is but the hype was not in proportion to this
Finally caught up with this show and skimmed through the thread. Just wanted to say this comment really made me laugh. Also, the moment I knew I loved the show was the reveal that Ted makes the biscuits. I love that he still does that too.
