I saw where he was coming from in his final argument with Ted. I honestly got Homer vs. Frank Grimes vibes lol
I really don't, I thought his assertion in the big confrontation scene with Ted that Ted made him feel like the most important person in the world at the beginning then abandoned him was ridiculous and had me thinking what the hell are you talking about as he was saying it. Ted saw something in him and put him in a position to achieve his dream, and entrusted the team's success on the field to him even after bringing a football legend like Roy on to the staff. He obviously sees himself as a football genius and resents Ted for being in the position he's in not knowing shit about the sport but he has no appreciation for the fact that if it weren't for Ted's kindness and willingness to trust people like he did Nate his meteoric rise never would have happened.
If anyone has a right to be mad, it’s the kit/ball guy who’s being constantly bullied by Nate, who suffers no consequences, while the team has this reputation being wholesome and supportive.
Yeah, I spent the whole time listening to him just thinking “how fucking dare you?” But I wasn’t sure if that was just my bias towards Ted or if his beef was actually as lame as it seemed.
dead at Roy calling Keeley a bilf and Macy Greyhound and it sucks Nate acted the way he did but it's also believable
Nate is such a little shit. Getting pissed off that his own idea worked just because he always has to be right? Fuck off
I understand the resentment and everything but the whole abandonment stuff I didn’t get. Like something was left on the cutting room floor. Maybe we’re just suppose to assume he abandoned him and stuff while he dealt with his own anxiety and stuff but I don’t know.
Also what will happen with Trent Crimm? Think he’s gonna follow the team/Lasso next season to write a book.
Yeah I got the vibe he was writing a book. There are a few threads posted in here about why Nate felt abandoned.
Them getting excited at Roy calling the diamond dogs kinda cool was the best moment of the season lol
so how many more seasons does this go? it has to end w/ a premiere league championship right? does nate get a redemption arc or is he the big bad forever
