1. Yea fuck nate 2. i don’t think roy is gonna fight jaime, i think her telling him that is gonna push roy to do a very non-roy thing next episode, and have a big romantic proposal. The teacher asking if he was married, and then him bringing it up again seemed too well placed.
I really thought Roy was gonna propose right there before she brought up the Jamie thing. Not saying it won’t happen, I think it will, but the Jamie thing REALLY shook him
Nate keeps doing the most despicable thing possible and yet…they’re doing a good job of keeping him an empathetic character. Every time he said “don’t you wanna be the boss?” in this ep I couldn’t help but feel for him.
I still feel for Nate despite how much of a dick he can be. There’s actual substance to his conflict, a lot of nuanced self-hatred and which makes it much more interesting than if he were a straight-up villain.
