Honestly the fact that I’m aware they’re good is big progress for them. They really need to get out of Foxboro.

 

Man, the first 20 minutes of this episode were some of the best of the season

 

Wow I totally thought last week was the finale.. gotta watch!

I was very confused about the random Nate uprising lol

 

Finale next week, really curious to see where they leave this off

2. i don’t think roy is gonna fight jaime, i think her telling him that is gonna push roy to do a very non-roy thing next episode, and have a big romantic proposal. The teacher asking if he was married, and then him bringing it up again seemed too well placed.

I really thought Roy was gonna propose right there before she brought up the Jamie thing. Not saying it won’t happen, I think it will, but the Jamie thing REALLY shook him

 

Nate keeps doing the most despicable thing possible and yet…they’re doing a good job of keeping him an empathetic character. Every time he said “don’t you wanna be the boss?” in this ep I couldn’t help but feel for him.

I still feel for Nate despite how much of a dick he can be. There’s actual substance to his conflict, a lot of nuanced self-hatred and which makes it much more interesting than if he were a straight-up villain.
