He’ll yeah. I’m keeping an eye out for a good deal on an 8 or 8a right now so I can try it out.

I've had it for about 2 weeks now and am liking it overall. I switched from iOS so it was a bigger jump than switching from android would be. Its taken me a while to set up and download FOSS and secure versions of most apps I use. If you're switching to graphene and want some recommendations, I could get in to that. There have been a lot of little things that've needed tweaking. There are certain things about iOS that I miss like using siri to set alarms and timers and to play music on Spotify. I also miss iOS shortcuts & automations. I could download google assistant and automation apps on my new phone but those things are privacy nightmares.

@Jason Tate - youre in the know about these kind of things, how much longer am I going to be waiting for an M5 mac mini? it's become my mini Chinese Democracy this year, want one oh so bad.

  7. I think most Mac m5 updates are next year. MacBook Pros maybe this fall. The rest March/April maybe? That’s what I’ve been telling friends when they ask if they should buy now.

Guess us-east-1 went down in AWS last night and tons of major companies faced outages. Glad we set our app stack up to failover to us-east-2 automatically. Shocking that companies like Disney don't do this haha

Haha it's still a total shit show right now. So many of our internal tools have not been loading all day, the primary region of my teams application is still all screwed up. Fun times!

Hugely irresponsible decision but I bought this vacuum after reading this review. Really excited for it to arrive. My canister vacuum (Miele) is honestly one of my favorite appliances so I still plan to do proper vacuuming, but having this supplement that + do all the mopping for me (which I hate) sounded way too appealing. Plus it’s cute and I’m lonely.

Proprietary bags suck, and they’re also wasteful, but they’re supposedly finalizing a new bag design so we’ll see.

The Matic is quiet revolution for robot vacuums

Been a big fan of Hue for a while now, and I finally bought the Festivia string lights because of their Black Friday sale. I thought I’d feel silly for spending that much on string lights, but they’re actually really awesome.
