The bugs are probably more so the aging iPhone you have. My 14 Pro Max has been rock solid, no bugs at all on the latest OS.
I got a new laptop (Acer Aspire 3 Slim) and bought a docking station, just to find out my laptop doesn't have a USB C or a Thunderbolt port. I don't think I can use this dock at all. Is here any other kind of dock that could work on this or am I out of luck? I want to connect two monitors to it. Edit: I think I have found two different tricks so to use as a workaround. I can use a USB-A to USB-C adapter for the dock, but with that only my USB ports on my dock will work, not Display Port or HDMI. I going to use my laptop's HDMI port for one monitor, then for the other I am going to use VGA to USB-A adapter cable and plug it into one of the laptop's USB ports. That away I will have a 3 display set up directly through the laptop, plus some extra USBs to use via the dock.
I have a sharp smart tv that I bought several years ago and a minute. Anyway, I downgraded my Netflix to the ads because I can’t afford the non ad one anymore since my Internet went up astronomical (and they don’t have cheaper plans), and i no longer qualify for my low income discount for my energy bill… well at first it said the device wasn’t ad supported. Now it says it is but tells me I need to update the app. Where the fuck do I update the app. I can’t find where to do so. YouTube/google was no help. The only video I saw, my model tv was the only one that didn’t show a video step by step instead it was “click here and here”. Well there’s no “set up” button under settings and I can’t find anywhere about app updates. Also I can’t delete the app and reinstall it because it comes with the app
I paid for a search engine called Kagi, and...I have zero regret. Not only is it great, but it's noticeably better than the other Google alternatives I've tried. Lenses have already been massively useful. The Age of PageRank is Over [manifesto] | Kagi Blog
I dug it at the time but it does feel dated today. Looking forward to the rumoured Vision Pro style change up this year.
Don’t know if this is the best place to ask, but can anyone suggest a decent budget tablet? Something primarily to download movies/tv/youtube for when I’m off grid. Bonus if it’s something I can connect a keyboard to and do some writing. But cheap, under $100 I almost went with one of Amazons before realizing you can’t even download the official YouTube app

What's a good VPN out there at a good price? I had a 2 year deal with Nord VPN for like $2 per month but it expired. I found it very slow with torrenting and streaming, even over my 500mbps network
I'm using it for much less intensive things, but I really like TunnelBear. I've only been using the free version, but I imagine the paid version is just as nice if not better.
I ended up getting Surfshark and I LOVE it. Way better speeds than Nord, very stable, blazing fast torrents in comparison. Also good ad/pop-up blocking and a kill switch of your internet if the VPN disconnects for some reason
anyone use notion extensively? I have a database set up, but effectively trying to set up a dashboard page that will tell me quick bits of information like doing a count on how many times something appears in a table or the first time it appears in the table. I can't seem to figure out a way to do this though. Has been easy enough to set up in Excel/Sheets, but am trying to learn notion and struggling with this piece, if its even possible
still sad my CD collection got stolen out of my cars years ago. I had three cases and it was all they took because there was nothing of value in that car lol
