Reputation never should have happened. TS6 should have been whatever TS7 is going to be. But when Kim and Kanye slashed her reputation, she went to a dark and very pissed off place. So this whole time, she's kept her private life, very VERY private because she realized that her past relationships weren't and she really really wanted this one to work.

TS7 is going to be a love story, but I have a feeling its not going to be in the way we expect.

 

We've never heard an album from Swift that was written in the midst of an apparently healthy, stable relationship. So I'm excited to find out what that sounds like either way.

That said, Getaway Car and New Years Day would be all over my top Swift songs list. Top 20 for sure. Maybe even top 10... maybe.

 

Wow I absolutely love Reputation. There are some misses but overall it’s a pretty consistently good album start to finish.

Then again, I also don't find "Bad Blood" to be as appalling as everything else does, so...

Bad Blood is a certified banger. The remixed version with Kendrick is better than the original though.

I love his verse but I also think the second verse of the original is so strong lyrically so I am always conflicted on this one.

Like, art is subjective and I get why folks might not love it but that song was a GIFT when I was trying to cope with my then-best friend siding with my abuser over me. Could not have summed things up more beautifully if it tried.

 

Yeah, I guess I mainly just like the Kendrick version better because I like the reworked beat/instrumentals more than the original. But I was always a big fan of the original though.

 

I flip flop between which one I prefer haha but I'm happy either way

 

Also, I can't remember if I posted this in here, but flipped on the Reputation Netflix concert the other night to have in the background but ended up glued to the opening and the first song (Ready For It) because it looked/sounded so good. So ended up stopping it and waiting to watch the full thing when I can pay attention to it..

If she announces something on Wednesday , which is Carly Rae Jepsen day, she's canceled

 

People have pointed out that there were 7 palm trees, she was sitting 6 steps from the bottom, and there are 5 fence holes. If she keeps counting down, she’d be at 1 on March 1st. Which could mean something on that day or the next.

I realize this is all a massive reach, but with Taylor you never can be sure.

 

I'm not buying the countdown aspect, I don't think ANY of the theories that the internet or reddit has EVER tried to get from small hints and clues has ever panned out
