Lol. The writer for Speak Now couldn't even live up to the premise. Even with a few missteps. Lol. I still don't get the hype on it being her best. Not saying it's people on these forums.
1989 actually feels longer to me than Red does, mostly because "Bad Blood" is the fucking nadir of her catalog. Speak Now also feels quite long. Red is long too, but I think it's really well paced and perfectly sequenced.
Been listening to Red nonstop and whoever she's talking about as the ex in Begin Again smh not liking her wearing high heels and not thinking she's funny?? Like why even date someone u don't think is funny? I get so upset on her behalf.
I guess All Too Well seems like the obvious choice, but Treacherous is the song I am annoyed I didn't write first and I don't even rly write songs unless we count the melodies I think I come up with that are genius and then I realize I accidentally stole from someone else. So I suppose I'd make a great songwriter but srsly Treacherous is perfect
Treacherous was my least favorite on Red for a very long time and then suddenly I was like "wtf is wrong with me"
I really love "Treacherous", too, and didn't find out until much later that she co-wrote it with the great Dan Wilson (of Semisonic and Trip Shakespeare). His live version (this tour was so great):
I have this incredible remix of Trouble in my iTunes library, I have had it for years, but I fucked up and did not write down who made it and now I can't find it on the internet to give credit or to share it with you. I know I read about it in a German rap magazine but I can't find the article either.
What is everyone’s favorite Taylor Swift song? I was just listening to “All Too Well” and what a song!
Long Live/Fearless/Haunted. Can’t choose. And I didn’t always love it, but I’ve come to realize All Too Well is probably her best song.
Honestly, Don't Blame Me is my favorite now. I'll always have a soft spot for Long Live, 22, and Red, and So It Goes is one of my other favorite Rep songs.
