Fearless the song is so good tho like if I want that magical corny fairytale feeling I'm listening to that or Enchanted!
Red is probably the best overall. Speak Now has great highlights but is uneven and a little too long. My top five songs in random order are: State of Grace Long Live All Too Well Begin Again Shake It Off Enchanted and Treacherous were real close.
All Too Well Mine Red State of Grace Enchanted Red and Speak Now easily have the highest highs for me but also have a big chunk of lows. Honestly I'd be fine if this new album can match up to those.
Our Song 5 times in a row Edit seriously though Our Song Love Story Mine I Knew You Were Trouble Blank Space
All Too Well Last Kiss State of Grace Long Live 22 Probably. "Mine," "Everything Has Changed," and "Clean" are up there too.
Surprised people like the song "Red" so much. Feels very by-the-numbers melodically and lyrically compared to a song like "All To Well", "Treacherous", or even "Holy Ground". Probably like a bottom 5 song on that album for me tbh.
I think "Red" and "22" do the best job of any songs in her catalog at melding her country roots with the pop sound she was moving into.
Red and 1989 both had bonus tracks that would've been top tier for their album. I was really excited to see if Rep would continue that trend, but guess it looks like it won't have any.
Yeah, I actually replaced "Bad Blood" with one of the bonus tracks in iTunes. Just got tired of hearing even the first few seconds of it.
the background vocals on it are heavenly. i like that she incorporated the same kind of background vocals on "out of the woods." i think that's why i love OOTW as much as i do.
The No Plus Ones episode about her is full of some of the stupidest shit I've ever heard on a podcast.
