I'm still trying to get over the fact that she used the melody of I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred on this, holy lol. As for the song in general, I find it a bit meh. The verses are pretty good and the pre-chorus is great but I'm really not a fan of the chorus or the Fergie sounding bit in the middle of the song.

I feel like she's so corny and awkward this ~darker thing could come off real bad like she's already crossing that line with this song lol so I'm kinda interested in how the video will be. Ok I don't know I think the song is a ton of fun and not at all what I expected from her. I'm on board. I don't think it's really cringey except for the "taylor's dead" part, but I mean it's not exactly new for her to put awkward little snippits like that in her songs. Like the spoken word in We Are Never Getting Back Together.

 

I like the hook a lot and think it deserves a better song

 

The album comes out on the 10 year anniversary of Donda West's death........ now I'm 99.9% sure Taylor Swift is not that monstrous of a person and that it's a coincidence but given their beef the optics aren't great.
