    not really haha

she raps in so much as Win Butler raps on "Signs of Life" off the new Arcade Fire album

    it's not good tho imo

What qualifies as a "bop" nowadays? Shit lyrics, terrible beat and a half-assed drop/bridge?

I'd be blown away if a 12 year old wrote something this catchy.

For me? Makes me want to dance. So yeah? I guess those things could qualify as a bop?

I've seen sooooo many reactions and I'm about to listen. Everyone says I'll hate it and a few friends didn't even finish the song

the chorus makes me very uncomfortable

I may have liked the mislabeled one someone posted a few pages back better. Some cool ideas here, like how the chorus pulls back and the spoken word post-bridge part, but the lyrics are just... I don't know, man. I thought she had moved past this kind of stuff.

the whole aesthetic is embracing the reputation and snake stuff but then the lyrics try to have it both ways like "nah i'm 100% the victim here and anything negative i did or am or am perceived to be is not my fault".

any mediocre music will be worth it if the album has even one track as good as "new romantics" though

Totally agree with the sentiment, but there is a line here like "Maybe I got mine, but you'll all get yours," which makes me hope she's at least hinting at having some of the blame. Probably not though :(

Yeah, I think I like this more than Shake It Off (maybe?) and 1989 was one of my favourite albums of the year so

I can only listen to the preview rn but it reminded me of Elastic Love except its not a flawless song about office supplies. Also kinda reminded me of that ting tings song ha. But that is based off like 30 seconds.

I'm still not worried about the album. Every Taylor Swift album has at least a few songs I think are perfect, especially Red, and I'm sure she'll have more on this one. I'm not into this song but I can see it being a lot of people's jam.

Maybe it'll be a concept album about a popstar who is pure and beautiful and then gets drug down by the media/society and so she turns dark and owns the snake thing and turns into a monster who secludes herself and lives in an ice castle because We Made Her This Way. Her artpop could mean anything!!

Anyway my weirdness aside she's selling an ugly snake ring for like $60 and I know some poor souls are gonna buy and it'll sell out but let's remember to love ourselves, friends
