Just not my thing, in the slightest

 

I mean I wouldn't wear it but it's the met gala. It's an excuse to dress ridiculously. It's supposed to be weird couture and zany costumes so I give all the weirdo outfits a pass on this event. It's the ones that don't even try and still look bad where I'm like "..."

 

Do you give Kanye's eyes a pass? Or the jeans kill it completely for you?

 

Kanye's outfit wasn't original or fun and wasn't suited for this event. Zayn and Will.I.Am and Jaden prob had the only interesting outfits from the guys.

 

So I saw this shirt and I realized it was a bootleg but curious if anyone knew where to get it.

It was in the style of a hardcore shirt. The front had some sort of X or cross and around each gap it read out to say 1989. The back said and now we got bad blood with a live photo in the middle.

Anyone seen/know what I'm talking about. Was trying to describe it to a friend.

It wasn't that. I wonder if it was just some limited run or a one off that guy made. Didn't ask him. Had the chorus as the lyrics on the back and all it said on the front was 1989.

 

can only imagine Taylor/her team would shut down anyone trying to sell stuff like that, using her lyrics/image.

 

parody/fair use would pretty much keep that from being an option.

yeah, certain phrases/lyrics of hers

 

she tried to trademark "this sick beat" but i dont know if they went through. she trademarked a few other things tho i think. These are the five phrases Taylor Swift just applied to trademark

 

trademarks and copyrights are different anyway; the bad blood shirt is clearly parody and would fall under fair use laws. there's a reason weird al has built a career off of making fun of pop stars

right, those items in that article are clear violations of copyright.

 

Idk. Listened to an interview with the Das Bootleg guy and he said he just pulls stuff as soon as he gets a cease and desist letter. I'm sure it's something similar. They could fight it but is it really worth it.

 

Good for her, but damn I thought we were gonna get a surprise!

 

After that video interview she did walking around her house, I've become pretty certain the next thing she'll do musically is headline next year's Coachella.

 

I can only dream that's true

 

That thought of mine is a big reason why I'm considering trying to make that trip.

Just FYI, you can do what I do every year and get an early pre-sale ticket in May/June, and then pay monthly installments of $45ish instead of a lump sum

and IF you don't end up going, tickets are as good as cash, you'll most likely get more back than you paid

 

oooh, good to know. tickets are around $400 a weekend?
