I mean her VMA performance the following year after the interruption was enough to show that she very much wanted to be involved in the narrative as long as it benefited her. Sis has always been a snake she's just embracing her true form this era!!

 

For real tho if she finally owned it instead of her usual coy passive aggressive bs she'd be so much more likable to me this era lol

I can see that font being perceived as gangster font but with the black and white, the first thing that came to my mind was the New York Times logo. The T in that font is even NYT's twitter pic

 

I'm sorry this looks terrible but I always feel secondhand embarrassed for her. As far as her music goes, she hasn't disappointed me yet. I'm here for this. Very pumped for tomorrow night.

 

I'm always surprised people think Taylor Swift will release something laughably awful. The best songwriters on the planet work with her on music, like ... it's not going to be bad. Haha.

 

That's true I suppose... I still think a really "big risk" could backfire, but we will see.

 

I don't even know what to say. That cover is uggo. I'm over her bad blood crap. I hate to admit I was kinda excited but not anymore.

 

Yeah idk I think her use of celebrity drama as a marketing tactic has become too transparent and I don't see as many people buying into it anymore...I mean it is Taylor Swift and she'll do numbers regardless but I highly doubt she'll gain any new fans by going this route

 

Call me old fashioned, but I truly think it comes down to the music

 

She got everyone talking with the sucky art so we'll all check out the new single to see if its a flop sly sneaky sis. I swear if she just does a Blank Space 2.0 "never mind, the press just makes me out to be a snake cause they like to tear me down even tho I'm just a sweet summer child" imma be disappointed. But a jam is a jam so I hope she delivers. I have a hard time imagining her putting out an actual bad album. Bad song, sure. But entire album? I feel like her songwriting instincts are too catchy tbh

i mean, i think there's a chance of it hitting modern katy perry levels of laughable. not sure that's necessarily likely based on her track record but along with this roll out, i certainly think it could happen.
