Thank you! Recovery isn't linear but the PTSD symptoms aren't nearly as bad as they were and things are in a good place. That's honestly why I've always liked Taylor. She's more or less my age and her albums have always seemed to come along right when I needed them to - especially Red and 1989. Drake rumors notwithstanding.
I don't know who those people are. Gigi is one I think and Taylor. The others I'm in the dark about lol
I was on the same page as you, luckily her other IG post has everyone tagged\ martha, gigi, taylor, lily (?), emmie (?), kennedy (?), camilla
i am ready to gloat at people who were convinced she'd release an album jk but i guess we can now be 100% certain it isn't coming in october
Maybe back to December is a cryptic clue and she's going back to December and writing an album similar to Speak Now? I dunno just spitballing.
taylor wrote the top line and the lyrics and the original demo for this is what you came for, calling it "just" a cowrite kind of diminishes her actual contribution to the song
Almost everyone Swift has ever co-written with has made it no secret that she tends to do the heavy-lifting. That's why I rolled my eyes so hard when people claimed her co-writers on 1989 meant she barely wrote the album. Edit: But yes, I believe this is the first time she has written a song entirely for someone else.
i think industry hired-gun works well for her at this point in her career, honestly. this is what you came for is a banger and it's a good way for her to keep her songwriting style in the public subconscious without being over exposed as a celeb
Didn't use the word "just" anywhere in my post. I don't know anything about the writing of that song and was not trying to diminish her involvement with it.
Is there an article that discusses the making of the song? I hadn't read any details like this before
