Doesn't matter how many people tell me it was an inconsistent album, Red got me through the implosion of my life/my abusive relationship in the end of 2012/through 2013 and it will always have a special place in my heart for that.
Calvin posted some tweets about her today, but the most interesting part is that Taylor wrote "This Is What You Came For" and actually sings on part of it
He's going in and even brought up katy lol. I knew amicable split was bs with these two. Both were too petty with their conflicting "sources" to be amicable
Lol. I actually liked her immediately with her first album but she totally lost me after her Joe Jonas bashing embarrassing comments and when I heard better than revenge. To be fair she was very annoying in that time frame. Sis has chilled a bit since then thank god
I have mixed feelings about her, love some of her songs as is legally required but I don't think I like her as a person
I'm in this boat. She annoys me so I like her as long as I don't fall into the trap of following too much more than her music which can be hard with her overexposure and the fact I read celeb junk lol
This is the best day ever. Calvin has been such an ass since like, halfway through their relationship. Having a conplete meltdown over a rep confirming the rumour is just...incredible. Anyway I've been listening to Speak Now a lot lately! I really disliked Taylor as a teen but now I have seen the light and there are some JAMS on that album.
It means people that hate her are suddenly behaving as though Calvin Harris is a golden god and paragon of virtue who "ended" Taylor Swift.
Tbh I get where both of them are coming from. Calvin is an ass and Taylor is planting stories but I'm sure calvin is too, Taylor is just more powerful. Idk they're both playing dirty instead of just dropping it and moving on which makes it funnier
I would get where he was coming from better if the story she planted was what he's painting it to be. I read the damn thing several times, I don't see how it makes him look bad for her to take credit for her work. After his "I don't see it happening" regarding their writing together (when talking about THAT single) quote, I'd publicly rebound with Hiddles and put this story out too. It's extra just-desserts after how he did Rita Ora on their ill-fated collaboration. So I get WHY he's so salty, but I just can't summon a shred of sympathy for the dude because this feels like a gigantic dosage of karma, no matter how many people cosign him solely because they hate her.
I don't feel sorry for him but I also don't blame him for being in his feelings. He was left for someone else she met while she was still with him and cheating isn't out of the realm of possiblity. Again I don't feel bad cause lol he dumped his gf to get with taylor and she did the same thing to him. I don't think the story was negative (except implying he caused the breakup) but he seems peeved she's planting stories which is understandable. I also don't think his comments about not working with her were bad. They agreed to keep it hush and I don't think his comment was intentionally mean spirited. I dont recall him being rude while they were together aside from some stories planted after the breakup. He was giving her olive trees and lockets and outfit coordinating with her lol. If he was a jerk publicly while they were together I don't remember it. in the end taylor can do way better and it's nice she apparently is. She seems to want her ~fairytale and Tom seems more up for that than calvin ever did. Either way taylor will win and calvin will be seen as a bit of a joke lol. I think they're both asses but she always reigns in the end
Wasn't Katy last seen dragging Calvin for cancelling on her all the time? I guess all's forgiven when you can get in on trashing Tay.
this sums up pretty nicely why I don't take anyone cashing in on this hate train on his behalf even remotely seriously.
