    New prediction:

2025: reputation deluxe. Original version plus vaults and maybe the few re records she did, maybe

2026: Debut 20th Anniversary Edition. Re records and vaults

Yeah, I think both will be anniversary editions. Swifties were expecting a Rep TV announcement this week, now they’ll probably wait two years to hear that vault!

My reasoning for guessing rep this year is that I would assume TS12 isn't coming this year (but with her, who knows), and if it's not this year she doesn't have anything to release. Just my guess

Maybe she just takes a year off and releases nothing… she was on tour for 2 years straight. She deserves a break

I’m seeing some Swifties annoyed she isn’t going to re-record Rep but…the album isn’t even that old and probably wouldn’t sound much different, if at all different, from the actual album.

Fuck yeah for her, I'm so happy she was able to do this. There was no way she could pass this up.

Yeah, I think she needs to take a very long break tbh. Like 2-3 years. So many albums released and the tour had to of been exhausting in every way.

Swifties need to take this as a sign to just chill the fuck out

It felt like a perpetual milking of the fans - which it was - and I’d argue also caused a decrease in her creativity.

I’m also happy that the awkwardness of “oh no, the version she doesn’t own came on, do I listen?” is gone.

That feeling happened for like one second each time but it existed, that’s for sure.

If an artist has made it clear that they want the rights and money, no matter how small it is from streaming, I prefer that they get as much as possible. But I’m weird.

I bought the originals, never felt an ounce of moral panic about listening to them, lol

For the record, this will forever be by far the worst instance of the "must prioritize the Taylor's Versions" impulse:

I didn’t take much interest in any of the TVs but stopping at Rep feels like the best time to stop for me as I just still don’t really like so much of that record and it feels way too recent to need a re-recording anyway. Also feels like a nice release from the awkward mix of anticipation and exhaustion around Taylor. Good for her, kinda cool to see all the work (if exploitive) come to a resolution like this.

She’s literally a billionaire, I don’t think it matters which version you listen to lmao

it’s cool to hate on billionaires, I enjoy doing it too, but there was a legitimate principle behind this and I do think the power dynamic between a young female artist and corporations who profited off of her made this different than the “normal” who cares about the billionaires feelings.

and quite honestly, if her note is true and it has sparked a push for other artists to succeed in owning their masters from the jump then there’s value there too.

not trying to put words in your mouth or anyone else, and maybe I’m stanning too hard myself, but I definitely have an appreciation for the TV effort and the rationale behind it.

John // OC now, OH forever.

I can’t take a grown man seriously that goes by the name Scooter. He could be the nicest guy in the world and I’d have to giggle thinking he’s a Muppet.
