Watching it live now because it showed up on my FYP. She's done all other announcements before guitar, so maybe not?

DBATC/Getaway Car as the "two songs that should've been set staples" mash-up on guitar.

Shots fired at everyone yelling at her to speak out about Vienna

“I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows.” This is obviously in relation to speaking about Vienna but I wouldn’t be surprised if this means she won’t speak out at all for the election this fall.

  21. i guess it would be nice if a public figure as big as Taylor spoke out about political issues, but at the same time, she doesn't owe us anything, we're not entitled to anything she wants to keep private for whatever reason. I'm thinking more of Chappell Roan here, but like, let people have their boundaries. At the end of the day, they're still just people.

Totally agree that she doesn't owe anything, but I also think she absolutely will endorse Kamala when the time is right

There are no swifties who are undecided voters or at best a miniscule amount

I also don't expect Taylor to be political she's a centrist billionaire

I think she'll wait to endorse until pretty close to the election. She doesn't really have the power to change anyone's mind (my guess is the number of undecided Swifties is pretty low). What she can do is persuade her fans who maybe just wouldn't have bothered voting that it's important to do it, so it makes sense to wait until much closer to the election and say something like "if you haven't done it yet, now's the time to vote, and I think you should vote for Harris"

I don't think her power lies in converting Trumpers to Kamala, or even converting undecided, I think it's in getting actual young people out to vote
