I ordered both the standard orange and the "That's Show Business Lovely Bouquet Golden" variant. At this point, I'm keeping the Golden copy and returning the Orange one. If this had been the album I was anticipating it to be, I would've kept both for sure.

I think the only album of hers I own multiples of is Midnights, and that was only two. For TTPD, I got the standard and then the Anthology version just to have the extra tracks. I wish she would've released a standalone, but we know better from her LOL.

I won't pre-order multiples from her again without a single. And if she releases an album I don't like overall, I'll just return it, as her store does offer free returns in the U.S.

Okay so Rolling Stone giving this album 5 stars and then posting this is actually funny

The lyrics are bad but I do think it’s silly to really care about “punching down” when it’s 2 very famous very rich pop stars lol. She’s not like…attacking the working man

No, she does that every time she releases a new version or variant.

There’s someone on this forum that owns over 100 blink records because of variants. Let’s drop that straw man argument. Every artist on earth is dropping variants. No one is expected to buy every single one. That expectation is put on someone only by themselves and if you can’t rule your own impulses, that’s on you, not the artist.

I think I’m a cynic with these things because a not small part of me feels like this kind of thing is more planned and calculated than we realize or like to admit. (Regarding Charli diss)

Really curious what tomorrow at 7 EST is. Apparently after a Taylor segment on the news they said “enjoy the big surprise tomorrow”.

I have no illusions that Charli wouldn’t walk by any of us if we were on fire and never think twice about it. It’s more about the way it’s framed and how Charli must been going off the cocaine to say the mean things she said that’s just like, well, that’s kind of a low blow.

I didn't completely hate this, but it also didn't really feel like a finished album to me.

I sorta wish Taylor would just become a legacy act and not make an album since evermore for maybe 10 years

The interesting thing to me is like, I don’t think this was that true a day ago at all. TTPD was pretty bland to me, but it was fucking huge. And the tour giving way to the most absurdly hyped engagement and rumors she turned down the Super Bowl, this is someone who was every bit as at the top of her fame in September 2025 as she was when the last truly show stopping thing she did came out whether you want to call that Anti Hero or the pandy albums.

But this album feels like the work of someone who was worried about exactly what you’re suggesting and at least for me it’s having the opposite of its intended effect in that I’m kinda like oh shit, is Taylor about to get benched for the rookie backup RB?

TTPD was given a lot of shit at the time, and the double album is definitely too much, but if there was anything on this album remotely close to Broken Heart, Who's Afraid, Black Dog, So long London, etc etc etc.... Like, those songs already feel like a HUGE step above what this album is

It's also pretty sad how bland the production on this album is, I find myself thinking and wondering what cool little details, tricks and layers Jack would have brought to these songs if they were his

TTPD is a grower album IMHO.

Is it the producers fault or what the artist wants? Because Max did a great job on Eternal Sunshine last year.

I have to think it's both because I think all the creatives involved are very talented people. Even if this is what Taylor wanted, which I'm sure it is, it's still bland and Jack does better with extremely similar soundspaces for her

As someone who's interest in pop music pretty much began and ended with Taylor Swift for many, many years, I will say that Olivia and Chappell make me feel the way Taylor used to make me feel. Not really a Sabrina guy musically but like her well enough.

In any case, my fiance is a die-hard who didn't fall off the way I did and she's pretty disappointed with this. I got in her car earlier and she was listening to Evermore. She looked at me with this sad expression and said, "I needed a palette cleanser. I listened three times..." I think I actually like it more than her overall.
