    Verdict(s):
    11 - I was going through my favorites on this like... wow, is this her best track across the discog? "Holy Ground" is grailed forever; "cowboy like me" sets a mood like nothing else in her discography; "Our Song" and "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" are A-Tier bangers. And then I hit that run of "Karma", "Innocent", and "London Boy" and knew I could never put this track in with the top.

    12 - there just ain't much to love at track 12. even the best songs are B-tier Taylor. I think I like both "long story short" and "Sad Beautiful Tragic" more than most people. always admired how cleanly "SBT" scans from a lyrical/rhyming/singing standpoint. "Soon You'll Get Better" is undeniably tearjerking (or should I have said sad, beautiful, tragic?) but I ain't reaching for that one much.

    And the coke line is kinda gross in itself like, whatever Charli's issues with drug use I think she took herself to task pretty heavily on Brat, nobody else needs to come at her for this?

    I think I for sure liked Tortured Poets much more than this, and that’s not saying much

    Those lyrics are ass.

    I’m guessing Taylor took “Sympathy” and Charli’s comments that she felt like she was waving to 5 year olds when she opened for her on tour. But it’s also weird because Charli also defended her when her fans chanted “Taylor Swift is Dead” at her shows.

    Anyway, she is really bad at diss tracks and I say that as the lone defender of the “Bad Blood” remix.

    This is easily her worst album since lover, and it’s about what I expected. I’m team jack/aaron and TTPD grew on me like crazy.

    Just lazy songwriting/effort across the whole thing; nothing stands out, nothing really grabs you. Lover at least had some pretty high highs. Folklore/evermore were truly unique and had some beautiful songs. This is just…….bluhhhh

    Tbf, this is based off the low quality phone recording, so we’ll see if that holds up tomorrow

    I am cringed out by this album and I haven’t even heard it yet. But i’ll give it a fair chance and a full listen tomorrow regardless

    It's always hilarious to see the lyrics for a really WTF song before hearing it. Reminds me of my first reaction to the song "Someday" by The Dangerous Summer.

    My Taylor fatigue is still more or less at an all time high, but I was looking forward to this after being mostly indifferent/disappointed by both Midnights and TTPD. Those lyrics have tempered my expectations...a lot.

    I cracked and listened to the shitty rip, lol.

    My first take: This is definitely not BAD. It's pleasant enough. But I think they really fucked up on the promotion. The title, the producers, the way she talked about it as this joyful thing, it all seemed to promise this big pop album, and it just isn't that at all.
