    Got a light?

Damn I am bad at finding leaks and I even did a deeper dive than usual. Someone gave a hint and I figured that out only to find it’s just a file sharing site you need a link to? Anyway hearing there is the diss isn’t surprising if you look at the history of her general behavior and morals, her PR team is truly amazing at their jobs

think it's pretty obvious that no press is bad press for her at this point

Because they wouldn't stream it anyway?

I looked everywhere that I know for it too and can't find it
the one website I go to for leaks does not have it yet

I think the only leak right now is an ultra-shitty phone recording of a vinyl record playing in the background, so there is absolutely no need to spend time looking for it.

"Wood" is the only redeemable track on this; the rest are totally forgettable, imo. Hopefully others have a better experience with it.

So funny to me that there was a cartoonish attempt, with live updates, to leak the album, very similar to the one that happened with one of those 1975 albums.

Feel weird about people going into Telegram channels to find the leak, lol. Someone’s gonna try to find some (presumably) corny response track to Charli a day early and end up as part of 764 or whatever.

this is my preferred way to listen to music, sorta like how people still buy tapes

The rip sounds like I imagine it sounded when Marvin Berry called his cousin Chuck on the phone and said "You know that new sound you're looking for? Well, listen to this!"

Wood is a like a 70s funk pop banger with Sabrina-like innuendo, very fun, but no this is not a pop bangers album, kind of a mix of different eras and new vibes

I think there is a huge number of humans who don't listen to Taylor, but would check out "her Charli xcx diss track"

Huh, I'll take your word for it, I guess. I don't know any of these humans.

Just finished my listen. The leak I found was actually pretty high quality.

Overall I liked it although the people expecting a big pop bangers album are going to be a little disappointed. The opening track is good! The Charli track is not that great, and I am someone who is here for a good diss track if done well, but this one could have been better IMHO. The rest of the album is okay but will need subsequent listens to have better opinions.

My overall first impression is kinda like my one for midnights; a shorter (normal length for most artists ) album that I really like about half of and the rest is meh, but they all grow on me over time so.

Well Charli Xcx is one, so that's more than zero

Now I'm picturing Taylor trying to write a song and being like "How do I make Charli XCX listen to my new album?"

Right. Taylor Swift is obviously a pop culture juggernaut, lol, but it shouldn’t be crazy to say there are many people who aren’t fans of her. And some of those people are fans of Charli, or aren’t that into either but would be curious about drama.

Reserving judgment until I hear the track myself but if there is a legit diss track on here that is extremely pathetic.

It’s one thing when it’s Kanye who is a truly horrible person, but to diss Charli at the literal height of her popularity would be pretty low of Taylor. All to manufacture drama? We’ll see in a few hours I guess!

will need to give it a second listen, but i have a work conference this weekend, so who knows if i'll get to it. other new releases are much higher priority at this point. overall, i'm a tad disappointed, but think there's still some pretty decent songs here. just got a get over that hump of judging it for what it is vs. what i expected it to be
