This is the lamest bluesky-dot-com take imaginable but it sucks so bad that, for someone who has such a platform but rarely makes definitive statements, she’s wasting time on a track criticizing Charli when she could be criticizing literally anything else

Also I never believe any celeb rift is healed just because an artist says some positive PR snippet about another artist but that's just the "Olivia Rodrigo's the Grudge is about Taylor" truther in me

It should surprise nobody that Taylor takes things very personally and cant let them go. She tells us this repeatedly. She buries hatchets but keeps maps of where she puts them, after all. And often she's in the right, like when she's channeling this to defend artists being paid their worth or standing up for herself against sexism. But sometimes it's a lil over the top. I feel like thank you Aimee is probably much closer to how she handles a grudge than a song like shake it off. I don't believe she shakes anything off ever.

Saying this as someone who shares the same toxic trait lol. I, too, am fueled by spite. But I have a feeling my grudges won't generate 1000 think pieces in quite the same way

 

God if there's a Charli diss track on here... so corny. A response to a song she's making about herself a year and a half after the fact? Okay pop off Taylor.
