In a thread of hot takes, this is the hottest IMO.

Lover has misses, but so many great tracks. Cruel Summer, I Think He Knows, Paper Rings, Cornelia Street, Death By A Thousand Cuts, False God. That’s more than I like from any post-Evermore album.

She should have scrapped Bad Blood instead, thats what i did back then and it worked perfectly. That is easily her worst song for me

But yeah, I still can't believe she left New Romantics as a b-side.

    6. Sad Beautiful Tragic
    7. The Lucky One

    10. The Alchemy

My bottom 10 Taylor songs, I think the top two are the only ones I actually dislike, the rest are just pretty weak/bland.

I know people love that song but I've never really understood why, I think it's so bland, musically and melodically. I think it's a nice concept lyrically but so many of the lines just don't really work for me at all, although some of that could be attributed to the clunky melodies.

That opening the album is easily my biggest issue with Folklore.

It's fine enough I just find it super forgettable, the main thing of note about it for me is not liking the chorus much, specifically the "Tupelo/Who you know, you know" part. The melody just rubs me the wrong way.

I love the piano riff so much, just peak dessner melody. I’m also a big National fan so.

I really love most of his production work with Taylor, and a fair bit of The National too, but for whatever reason that one just doesn't really stick with me.

    Jason Kelce is a delight.

I agree that Dorothea is not.

She pumped out so many mediocre songs on Evermore, Midnights and TTPD that there's a grab bag of bottom 10 songs

I like most of them too! Haha

Like I said there's only two of hers I'd actually say I dislike, then it's just down to the ones that don't really do much for me. Like Dorothea and The 1 are still mostly pleasant songs lol.

Maybe the worst Taylor song is “Endgame” or whatever, that one with Ed Sheeran kinda rapping. The one blight on the otherwise underrated reputation.

Though, the anonymous songs that make up most of the bloated Tortured Poet whatever could fill in a theoretical bottom 10 pretty easily. Only problem is, I’d have to remember them in order to list them.

I used to dislike this one too but for some reason it clicked with me last year and I've grown to kinda love it.

I think parts of this song suck but there's also some stuff I really love. Taylor's verse in particular is one of my favourite sections on the whole album.

Dang, yeah No Body No Crime is fun. I don't like Endgame and pretty much pretend it doesn't exist.

Everything on evermore is good to great to me. Love that album. Funny that I initially slept on it because I was still feeling folklore and didn’t want folklore part 2, and now it’s the one of the two I easily prefer.

OK, bottom 10, off the top of my head:

    ME!
    Thank You Aimee
    London Boy
    Bad Blood
Vigilante Shit (redeemed slightly by cool staging at the Eras Tour, but meh)
    You Need to Calm Down
Fresh Out the Slammer (90 percent of what makes this song bad is that it has one of the dumbest titles ever given to a song in history, and cannot transcend that stupid concept to become bearable)
    I Hate It Here
    The Man
Us (the Gracie Abrams song; I'm counting it because Taylor takes it over to such a degree that it's more her song than Gracie's, and it sucks so much more than anything else on that album due to the annoyingly wordy TTPD vibe Taylor brings to it)

There was a time I would have said "End Game," but that song won me over at some point. I can't explain it.
