What’s everything thinking, Speak Now or 1989 first?

 

I'm thinking 1989 in May/June and Speak Now coming in Nov/Dec

 

It would be insane to not do 1989 in the summer, but I also can see her wanting to take advantage of the popularity of Enchanted

 

Feel like 1989 is a lock for the next one. It’s the remaining one that’d be biggest to get onto streaming, popularity wise. And, some of that material could be really good to have out in the summer.

Then, late fall is probably either Speak Now or self-titled. I’d lean towards Speak Now, which would get some nice “Back to December” play in December. Plus, then self-titled would slot nicely into next spring/summer (and reputation the following fall/winter). But, that first album also has some Christmas songs, including a very underrated “Silent Night” arrangement, so I dunno.

 

personally thinking she's gonna go with 1989 next, solely because some of the recordings have been done for quite some time (particularly Wildest Dreams). she's probably had mass physical manufacturing plans for that one for a while, so despite the lawsuit, she'd probably want to get that out of her hands. i'm secretly hoping for a mid-July release since my birthday falls on a Friday this year, but i could also see late July/early August as a possibility too.

 

I figured she'd do self titled last to come ~full circle or whatever but I'm not gonna pretend to know what she'll do.
