Omg I presume many swifties on tiktok are young so I give benefit of the doubt but they can be so obnoxious like harassing radio stations for not playing Taylor's version songs or harassing fans who don't listen to the Taylor's versions. Tbh I only listen to the bonus tracks on the re-releases and stick with the original album tracks on my daily listening. I'll be a bad fan okay but I don't like the new WeeEeee's and I miss the things that made the originals special even tho i support what shes doing. I've given miss swift enough of my coins throughout the years leave me be and let me shake my old lady cane at the sky and get off my lawn

My fave was the discourse around I Bet You Think About Me and some fans insisting she didn't grow up THAT rich and she was never "rich rich" like yeah there's levels to wealth but are we gonna die on this hill lol?

I think a lot of young swifties don’t realize you can support what Taylor is doing AND not be a huge fan of the new versions at the same time. I mean, I’ve been listening to Taylor since I was a child and those originals mean so much to me, especially with all of the little details that aren’t present in the re-recordings. I listen to all of the versions (except the new IKYWT & WANEGBT). That doesn’t make us bad fans and those who care enough to call someone out like that need to go outside or something haha

I will say whenever I hear a 1989 song now or anything there isn't a Taylor's version of I feel like I'm doing something illegal haha

I prob would've been one of those annoying fans when I was a youth so I'm not gonna judge but I need to get back on older millennial swiftie tiktok

  7. That's what I call it when my only "older millennial" friend who is actually active on tiktok drops the ones she likes in our ~ancient~ (read: 30+) swiftie iMessage group chat

She'll never do it and i don't expect her to but I'd die if she did the correct thing on the Speak Now Taylor's version and put sparks fly first on the tracklist. It has first song energy and she messed up for not putting it first in 2010 and sis needs to rectify this error I will hear no arguments to this point

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I know she had played Sparks Fly well before releasing the studio recording so maybe that was why. But yeah. Biggest screw up in sequencing she’s ever done.

Crazy talk. Mine is such a perfect opener and Sparks Fly is a track 2 to its core. The first three songs on Speak Now is one of my favourite stretches of her discography and the sequencing is perfect.

I would like that album about 10 percent less if “Mine” wasn’t the opener.

Finally got around to doing some RED artist series classes on Peloton this week to get that Swiftie Badge, and let me tell you, increasing resistance by a point every time she says “All Too Well” on the 10 minute version will start your day off right (and sweaty.)

When speak now was released I thought in if this was a movie she was saying "come back, come back to me, Eli" and I was always like who tf is Eli

I don't have any sequencing takes on Speak Now (I've said my general unpopular take about the album as a whole enough times, lol), but I will say "Sparks Fly" is easily the track from there I'm most excited to get updated. That thing was one of my favorite songs to play while driving for a long time. And, I'm hopeful that it'll end up sounding better like Fearless, not uncanny valley like a good chunk of Red.

Also curious about "Mean," which I feel could end up on either end of the enhanced vs awkward spectrum.

Idk why I've decided speak now is her next re-release based on absolutely nothing but me decreeing it so

That's the general consensus among SwiftTok at the moment. Lots of little hints being dropped. Plus if you look at this image from "The Man" video (from early 2020 nonetheless), it shows her albums on the wall. We see they're listed in a clockwork manner. So far the order released has reflected that. We got Fearless, then Red. Speak Now is next on the clockwork order. Here's where it's gets interesting though. Reputation is listed after Speak Now, but she can't rerecord it till Nov 2022. 1989 is likely to be the biggest rerecord with the most "Vault" tracks on it. Then she wraps up the rerecord project with her debut, which would be great from a full-circle perspective. From there, you have the question of what "Karma" is. Some speculate this is the lost album that was scrapped between 1989 and Reputation. Time will tell.

Yeah, I spend *just* enough time on SwiftTok to wrap this together, but it's fun for me. Taylor drops a lot of Easter Eggs, so might as well have some fun with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
