The one that's the big surprise for me is the Zayn collaboration. I have never, ever heard that song out in the wild.

 

I'm not either, I'm on millenial TikTok, aka Instagram Reels.

I read that title 3-4 times before I remembered what that song even was.

 

I think I listened to it once. I have no idea what it sounds like.

 

It makes sense One Direction was huge and those movies were fairly popular

 

I listened to it a lot, bit only because I put it on a mix for myself, never heard it in the wild

 

I still hear the zayn collab on the radio sometimes

Idk how I single handedly haven't pushed olivia to number 1. I'll be surprised if she isn't my number 1 artist this year. I think it's been taylor as long as I can remember but I listen to that olivia album like every day oop. Hope it doesn't discourage her from the sing-talky pop rock vibe. It's so dumb but I see a lot of haterz on tiktok saying she can't sing when it's obvious she's just singing those songs in a specific style that happens to be an absolute blast.

my buddies band have put their old taylor swift cover up on spotify if anyone wants to give it a listen, for fans of pop punk and taylor ;)

 

“Sunroof” feels like it was a song that got released during the pandemic, but somehow came out last year.

 

I've never heard of any of these songs, and only know a few of the artists. I feel super old right now.

Wait how is that Rock/Alternative? That’s mostly country, right? So I guess any country that isn’t bro country is rock/alternative now?

 

Same, I Remember Everything came in shuffle after a Jason Isbell album and it blew me away, only listened to the recent Self-Titled so far but eager to dig into his other stuff.

 

Folk-country is kind of bleeding into alternative with Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan, who collaborate with The Lumineers and Mumford.

 

Wonder if there's any chance of a surprise TS release in December?

 

Feel like after how much Midnights and 1989 sold first week with vinyl and how relatively little Evermore did, I feel like we’re never getting a surprise release again

 

I'm still guessing next year is a studio album year then 2025 is the last two TV

 

shes been on tour alot this year so maybe shes been working in between runs?

 

most humans sleep sometimes but I'm not so sure about her

 

maybe a Christmas release/rerecording? probably not, but some have hoped for it

 

Evermore is a fascinating case study on the rule change about preorders counting towards first week sales or the week they’re available. Definitely feel like it’s affected her strategy, but at the end of the day, anything she does will sell and continue to sell for awhile. Kinda wish she’d give up the “million sales week” thing and just go with whatever feels right.

 

She’s not going to put out a brand new album in the middle of a tour. If she does I’ll be shocked. also I don’t think she wants to add anything to an already 3 hour 20 min plus show. It would make the show like 4 hours and that’s just insane for anyone

Ts 11 isn’t coming until at least 2025 after all the re-records are out and the eras tour is over. She will prolly do a ts 11 tour in 2026/2027.

 

Ok but, when is she directing her first feature film?
