Taylor, if you’re really choosing a new 1989 single, AYHTDWS is the obvious choice for fall.

I ordered it at six this morning for pick up and it was already out of stock! Had to switch to a different one, first time it’s happened with a TV for me at target. Shits wild

Welcome to New York and Out Of The Woods are the two songs that sound radically improved to me

alright, Sweeter Than Fiction thoughts. the vocals sound wonderful (especially the vocal harmonies on the back half). i'm not entirely sure about the instrumentation just yet. it sounds good, but it's a little less "glitchy" than the original, of that makes sense. i might connect my headphones to the turntable to see if it sounds any different compared to my speaker setup.

also on another note, many of Taylor's records i own since signing with Republic have been pressed somewhat off-center (especially the TVs for Fearless and Red), but this is the first time in a while for me that everything is in really good shape. no scratches, warping, or pressing errors whatsoever.

Gotta be honest, a lot of this sounds almost the EXACT same to me, especially in the first half of the album. I didn't notice anything worse about Style at all, but it was never my absolute favorite so maybe I'm just less attached.

Shake it Off something is bugging me in the drums, only thing that was noticeably worse to me on first listen.

Out of the Woods is way better now, one of the best of the entire TV project so far.

Vault tracks are all good, imagine they'll feel a bit more essential with repeat listens. Once again I find myself blown away by You Are in Love, it's gotta be one of the most underrated songs in her whole discog.

it would never happen, but give You Are In Love the single treatment it deserves, lmao.

tbh, i'm having a hard time thinking any of the vault tracks could be considered single material. sure, they're good, but it's not like she has another Cruel Summer on her hands (let alone anything that matched the commercial success of the singles from this album.

You Are In Love is one of my least favorites songs from her, it's always felt so clunky and I can't not think of Jack and Lena

  18. Listening to this on my good speakers right now. I'm at "Bad Blood" and so far, if you told me I was accidentally listening to the original version of the album, I'd believe it. No complaints yet.
