This announcement ended up being a ticket give away to see her overseas but you must live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware if you want to win.

  14. the second version of 1989 TV's cover is still the "best" one, and the first one is still the "worst" one.

Yeah, I was waiting to see what the other covers would look like and I hate myself for missing out on the second version. Fingers crossed she releases all 4 closer to release day.

someone on twitter joked that the first cover almost makes it look like "1989" is spelled out using seagull shit and that's all I see now

I don’t think any of the new photos are well executed. They don’t have the Polaroid look, if that’s what they’re going for. They just kinda look like iPhone photos.

Standard version is my favorite album cover, the rest are cute beach pics

i've been of the opinion that not only are all her alternate covers unnecessary, but none of them look as good as the one she chooses to be the main cover. some covers might serve as good photographs (for example: the jade green cover for Midnights, the Sunset Blvd yellow cover for 1989 TV, the Running Like Water cover for folklore), but only the main ones really scream album cover material. with 1989 TV, even though i don't really care for any of the photographs, the main one she chose is the most fitting, imo, and while it's nowhere near as eye-catching as the original 1989 cover, it's grown on me a bit.

Yeah I don't fully understand the beach re-brand when it's pretty clearly a New York fashion big city vibes
