with an impending UPS strike on the way (which should absolutely happen if a fair contract can't be established), my birthday wish today is that my copy would make at least *some* sort of progress out of Michigan, lol. won't be the end of the world if it doesn't make it before the end of August, but one can hope.

For everyone who endured the November US Eras tour presale, fun insight into the London presales is just how much cheaper the tickets are for the most part. I signed up for Wembley because I would go if it all worked out and to try and help some other friends get tickets who live over there. I got through the queue in less than 4 minutes. But, wildly, in the AXS half of the sale, at least, you didn't get to pick your seat. You just selected which price you were willing to pay and how many tickets you needed and they assigned you seats. And if you clicked too quickly through the packages, they assumed you were a bot (because you could only look at one price point at a time, so if you didn't like your assigned seat, you had to release the tickets to see others; I was assigned behind the stage tickets on my first selection and was thinking there'd be more options 4 minutes into the sale). So, by releasing one set of tickets to look at another set, I got labeled a bot and blocked from the sale. Which, I know they're aggressively blocking scalpers in Europe, but come on.

 

That fucking Morgan Wallen song is back at number 1. We are truly hopeless as a country.

 

Hopefully vampire can continue to cruise along and grow and overtake again
