It doesn't feel or sound at all like a b-side to me.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

It’s easy to say it’s better than London Boy, YNTCD, Me! And maybe a few others.
But it still feels like a B-Side to me. I feel like it’s missing something in the music itself. I don’t fault her for leaving it off of Lover.

Also for me, it's not just that it's a better song than 6-8 songs that did make the album (even though it is that), musically / stylistically it fits in great with songs like "Lover", "The Archer" & "Cornelia Street", and also fits thematically on an album called 'Lover' that's a love letter to love in all of its maddening, passionate, exciting, enchanting, horrific, tragic, wonderful glory.

It’s becoming more and more staggering the number of ways that Lover could have been a better album than it is. Could have been a top 3 Taylor album with some better editing or (apparently) a few of the b-sides traded in.

  5. I’m sure most artists don’t write songs that are supposed to sound like b-sides haha. She probably just liked other songs more than that one in the end.

If we were to believe all the Swiftie theories about Speak Now TV, it would make it the most hyped up album in humany history

  8. well at this point, this is the only one that i am "shipping" or "clowning" for, as the kids say. we'll see what her shirt says at the next shows. if they are repeat shirts or letters that don't fit the theory, i will remove my clown makeup.

Swifties are wild. I find it hard to believe she puts this much effort and thought into dropping hints and clues

Swifties are out of control a lot, but she definitely puts time & thought into clues and such.

  11. In each album, Taylor used to put cryptic clues like this in the CDs liner notes. Each song was lowercase lyrics, except for random capital letters. If you wrote out all the capital letters in order, it gave a hint about what/who the song was about. She stopped doing it after Speak Now though, I think. So this whole t-shirt theory really isn't too crazy, especially for Speak Now, since I think that's the last album she did that on. It could have been Red though, I can't remember.

Haha ya definitely not impossible, it's just funny because this specific re-release has had soooo many theories. But there could be something to this cus it is kind of weird otherwise

My entire FYP is now just theories and Era’s Tour videos. Almost every single video. I don’t hate it.

i’ve been meaning to tell you

she did it on 1989 as well, but it was one story tying the theme of the album together instead of little individual hints about each song.

So sis really is relegating debut to the surprise songs.

I put together a minor tweak of the setlist out of boredom (changed the order of the eras, added two speak now and two debut, changed a few song choices) and it’s still just amazing to me she’s performing most of 44 songs. At last count I think she has 202 to choose from. Just awesome.

But losing my two favorites off debut to surprise songs to the first two cities stings. Especially when they were easy layups for nightly inclusions imo. Opening with Tim McGraw and closing with Our Song’s “play it again” would’ve been an epic love song to her fans.

Just imagining how I'd die if she played the underrated goat taking back Sunday homage Cold as You.
